Chinese New Year!

Lesson: Understanding the World

This week, we have learnt about Chinese New Year!

2017 is the year of the rooster so we made rooster pictures out of our handprints. We also made dragon masks, lanterns and acted out 'The story of the Zodiac'. We really enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year and thought about how it was similar to our own celebrations.
