Cost of Living Support

We know that families can face financial pressure for many different reasons. If you are finding it difficult to manage household costs, there is support available locally.

Cheshire East Council provides information and advice on a range of areas, including:

• help with food and essential household costs

• benefits and financial support

• debt and money advice

• housing costs

• Free School Meals

• childcare costs

• school uniform support

• local community services.

Crisis and Resilience Fund

Cheshire East’s Crisis and Resilience Fund provides support for residents experiencing financial hardship or an unexpected financial crisis.

Depending on circumstances, support may include help with essential household costs, housing costs, heating, essential items and short-term emergency payments.
