Welcome to The Hive at Weston Village Primary School!

The Hive is our fantastic wraparound care provision, offering a safe, friendly and fun environment for Weston pupils both before and after school, and during the holidays. It’s a place where children can relax, play, and spend time with friends in a welcoming, nurturing space—just like a home from home!

🐝 Opening Hours

• Breakfast Club: 7.30am – 8.45am (children are taken straight to class at the start of the school day)

• After School Club: 3.15pm – 6.00pm

• Holiday Club (selected dates): 7.30am – 6.00pm

We also offer a healthy breakfast and tasty afternoon snacks, with plenty of fresh fruit and we cater to all dietary needs.

The Hive isn’t just about keeping busy—it’s about feeling part of a caring community. Children build friendships across different year groups, take part in exciting activities and have plenty of time to be themselves.

Our Approach

We follow the Playwork Principles, meaning children are free to choose how they spend their time. We support their independence while ensuring they are safe, secure and happy. Our qualified staff team includes a Supervisor, Playworkers, and familiar school staff who know the children well. We maintain excellent staff-to-child ratios and provide a calm, inclusive environment where every child is welcome.
