Year 6 Safeguarding Ambassadors at the Conference

Our Year 6 Safeguarding Ambassadors had an insightful and engaging morning at the Safeguarding Conference hosted by Audlem St James CofE Primary School. Alongside other local schools, they explored a range of important topics to help them become even stronger ambassadors for safety in our school community.
They learned about how realistic AI photos and videos can be, and why it’s important not to believe everything you see online.
The Police delivered a session on online safety, teaching strategies for staying safe in the digital world.
The NSPCC shared key advice on how to seek help and support through Childline.
An interactive activity on iPads helped them explore the impact of cyberbullying and how to combat it.
The morning ended with a creative summary poster activity, where the children reflected on their new knowledge and ideas.
It was a brilliant opportunity for our ambassadors to gain practical tools and insights they can use to help keep themselves and others safe! 🌟
