Thank you very much for your contributions to our harvest collection. At a time when things are tight for many families, your generosity is all the more appreciated.
We spent time in our assembly this morning reflecting on harvest and also discussing foodbanks – why they exist, who uses them and how they work. Children of all ages showed a high degree of empathy and understanding.
All of the food you sent in has been passed onto the wonderful volunteers at Chance Changing Lives in Crewe. As well as supporting many vulnerable people in our immediate society, they also run a Community Pantry, which provides food to people in most need, whatever the reason. Your contributions will help many.
