Share Your Views
At Weston Village Primary School, we value the views of parents and carers.
Your feedback helps us understand what is working well, identify where we can improve and make informed decisions about the future development of the school.
There are two main ways to share your views.
Ofsted Parent View
Ofsted Parent View is Ofsted’s online survey for parents and carers.
It asks about your experience of your child’s school, including areas such as whether your child is happy and safe, behaviour, communication, support for learning and SEND, and how effectively concerns are dealt with.
Parents and carers can complete Parent View at any time. Ofsted uses responses to inform inspections and decisions about when schools should be inspected, and publishes anonymised summaries of responses.

Our Parent Survey
We also carry out our own parent and carer survey.
This gives families an opportunity to share feedback directly with the school about children's experiences, teaching and learning, communication, wellbeing and the wider life of Weston.
We review the results carefully and use them alongside other evidence to help inform school improvement.
Parent Survey 2025
A total of 34 parents and carers responded to our December 2025 survey, representing families across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
The survey showed many positive views of the school. For example:
94% agreed that the school was well led and managed.
94% agreed that their child did well at Weston.
91% said they would recommend the school to another parent.
97% agreed that their child could take part in clubs and activities.
88% agreed that the school encouraged children to look after their emotional health.
What Parents Told Us We Could Improve
Parent feedback also highlighted areas where we could do better.
In particular, the survey identified:
communication about how children are doing
information about how families can support learning at home
the amount and timing of communication through different platforms
giving families sufficient notice of events
consistency in how SEND information and support are communicated between classes and year groups.
We take this feedback seriously and use it to inform our ongoing work with families and our wider school improvement priorities.
