We Are Launching OPAL Play at Weston Village Primary! We are delighted to announce that we are launching the Outdoor Play and Learning Programme (OPAL) to enhance playtimes for all of our children.
Playtime makes up 20% of a child’s school day. Through OPAL, we are transforming this time into an even richer opportunity for creativity, physical activity, teamwork, problem-solving, and imagination.
If you’re having a clear out this half term, please consider donating any of the following items to help us enhance playtimes for our children.
To help us get started, we would be incredibly grateful for donations of:

Pipes and guttering
Plastic and cardboard tubes (the larger the better!)
Sheets, pegs and clips
Tarpaulins
Corks
Wooden blocks
Crates – plastic and wooden (especially large crates for construction)
baskets and storage containers (the heavier duty the better)
Large cotton reels
Barrels
Suitcases
Outdoor cushions Picnic blankets and blankets
Dressing-up clothes (including adult hats and jackets)
Wellies and waterproof trousers
Play food
Dolls, clothes and prams/pushchairs
Small world toys (animals, people, dinosaurs)
Toy cars and vehicles
Scooters and balance bikes
Buckets, spades and sand toys
Musical instruments
Pots, pans, utensils, jugs and bowls
Mud kitchen items or mud kitchens
Water play resources (watering cans, pipes, containers)

DonationsItems can be dropped off at Weston Village Primary School.
If you are unable to deliver, please get in touch and we will try to arrange collection.
