As part of British Science Week 2023, Aqua and Orange classes explored the theme of ‘Making Connections’ through methods of communication. We looked at ways people communicated in the past, including through smoke signals, using torches, playing drums and written symbols. We focussed on Morse Code and learnt all about the inventor – Samuel FB Morse. The children had a go themselves using circuits and decoding each other’s message. We also decoded the message of the week – “Science Is Fun!”
