Dress like a scientist day
Today was ‘dress like a scientist’ day. The children wore a range of outfits to represent people in STEM industries, including people in their family. Some children chose to dress as people who pushed the field forward through their pioneering achievements. This included pioneers such as Mae Jemison, the first black female astronaut and Philip Emeagwali, a prize winning Nigerian computer scientist. Here is Blue class. Photos from other classes will follow next week.
