Some Year 5 children spent the day at the inaugural Brill Kids Fest 2022. They came together with children from other schools to take part in fun activities, challenge the way they think and generally be inspired to be a 2%er. The art of brilliance fits our secrets of success perfectly and we look forward to sharing what we have learnt with the rest of the school.
More information about being a 2 percenter from the doctor behind the art of brilliance ethos, who worked with the children at the conference yesterday. It is about mindset and happiness not inherent ability and, like our secrets of success, it has its roots in inclusivity. It starts with the questions: Are you happy? Can you affect your own happiness? What defines happiness?
This is not about talents, skills and abilities, it is all about unlocking happiness and self-worth for everyone and actively finding positivity in the way we engage with our world - growth mindset, an ethos built on inclusion.
